Nissan is set to buy a key stake in Mitsubishi Motors in the midst of a massive fuel economy scandal. But as Reuters Tokyo Bureau Chief William Mallard explains, it's an interesting choice considering Nissan was the company to blow the whistle on Mitsubishi in the first place.
